About PayZoom in two sentences: we are a credit card processing company founded in 2006 in Daphne, Alabama, and we serve businesses in nearly every U.S. state. We read your statement first, show our margin, and a real person answers when you call.

Where PayZoom came from

PayZoom was founded in Daphne, Alabama, in 2006 by someone who came from the “big bank” world. That background showed how card processing looks from the inside: pricing that is hard to read, fees that appear without explanation, and support that runs through a queue.

PayZoom was built to do the opposite. Our tagline says it plainly: Big-league payments. Small-town service. We handle the same card networks, gateways and specialty setups as the large processors. We do it with people who know your account by name.

Our commitment to merchants and entrepreneurs

These seven points have guided PayZoom for years. They are how we decide what to recommend and what to refuse.

  1. Help merchants and never do harm. If your current setup is fair, we’ll tell you.
  2. Never charge an early termination fee. You stay because the service is worth it.
  3. Transparency in pricing. Interchange and card-network fees are passed through, and our margin sits on its own line.
  4. Never increase rates above interchange. For Interchange-Plus merchants, our margin never increases. That is in writing.
  5. Help maintain PCI compliance. We help you meet Visa and Mastercard rules instead of charging a non-compliance fee.
  6. Salaried professional account executives. No commission pressure behind a recommendation.
  7. Never sell proprietary software or POS. We fit the POS, gateway or cart you choose.

What we handle

Most merchants come to us for credit card processing. Many stay because we handle the harder setups too:

We work with restaurants, retail, grocery, medical and dental practices, government agencies, petroleum and convenience stores, schools, nonprofits and B2B companies. See merchant services by industry.

Who we partner with

PayZoom is a registered partner of Cygnus Payments and Evolv Payment Solutions. Because we are platform-agnostic, we set up processing to fit the equipment and software you already use instead of pushing you onto a system of our own.

Beyond payments, PayZoom supports ministry partners such as Water for Life, Open Doors International, Teen Challenge and Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Small-town service, to us, includes giving back.

What PayZoom does for you

Send us one recent processing statement. We line-item every fee, separate what the card networks charge from what your processor keeps, and give you a plain-English answer. There is no cost for the statement analysis, and if your current rate is fair, we’ll say so.

If you switch, you get Interchange-Plus pricing as low as 0.05% + $0.22 per transaction, depending on your setup, no early termination fees, no non-compliance fees, and support that is never outsourced.

Want a straight answer about your own statement?

Send us one recent statement. We line-item every fee and tell you what you are really paying. Free, no pressure.

Or call 866.242.4325. A real person answers.

Not only did PayZoom lower our costs, they analyzed our internal processes and made recommendations to improve workflow and provided new equipment so we could capture electronic payments at all points in the hospital and at off-site locations.

Questions merchants ask us

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call us and a real person will answer it.

When and where was PayZoom founded?

PayZoom was founded in 2006 in Daphne, Alabama. Our founder came from the “big bank” world and started PayZoom to give merchants clear pricing and a real person to call. Today we serve clients in nearly every U.S. state, and our support is still never outsourced.

Is PayZoom a bank?

No. PayZoom is a card processing company and a registered partner of Cygnus Payments and Evolv Payment Solutions. We set up and support your merchant account, read your statements, and help you stay compliant with card-brand rules. We don’t charge non-compliance fees for that help.

Do your account executives work on commission?

Our commitment to merchants includes salaried professional account executives. That keeps the focus on what fits your business, not on what pays the biggest commission. If your current setup is fair, we will tell you that instead of selling you something.

Do you only work with Alabama businesses?

No. We are based in Daphne, Alabama, and we serve clients in nearly every U.S. state. Statement reviews, setup and support all work by phone and email, and a real person answers when you call 866.242.4325. Distance doesn’t change the service.

Do you sell your own POS system?

No. We never sell proprietary software or POS. PayZoom is platform-agnostic, so we set up processing to fit the POS, gateway or shopping cart you choose. When you need new hardware, we help you pick a device that fits how you sell.

Send us one statement. We’ll tell you exactly what you’re paying.

No cost and no pressure. If your current rate is fair, we’ll say so. We typically reply the same business day.
