Who is the Valor Mini a good fit for?
Businesses with limited counter space where customers pay in one spot: coffee bars, boutiques, salons, front desks and service windows. If you want a built-in receipt printer, compare the Valor V-100. If you sell away from the counter, the Dejavoo Q Mobile may fit better.
Is a smaller terminal a downgrade?
Not for the job it is built for. The Valor Mini is a countertop terminal sized for tight counters. What matters is whether it fits how your customers pay. Tell us about your counter and checkout, and we’ll tell you plainly if another device fits better.
Can I run surcharging or a cash discount on the Valor Mini?
Tell us which program you want before setup. We configure it to card-brand rules. Surcharges are capped at 3% and never apply to debit or prepaid cards. Some states restrict surcharging, so check current rules for your state before you start.
Does the Valor Mini change my processing rate?
No. Your rate comes from your pricing, not the device. With Interchange-Plus, card-network costs pass through at cost and our margin is shown on its own line. Send one recent statement and we’ll show you exactly what you pay now.
