B2B credit card processing for companies that invoice.

B2B credit card processing is different from selling to consumers. Your customers pay invoices with corporate and purchasing cards, or by bank transfer, and the card networks reward sellers who send the right order data. We set up both sides so you get paid faster and pay less to accept it.

Why B2B sellers overpay to get paid

Most processors set up a B2B company like a retail store. That leaves commercial-card savings on the table and keeps invoices on paper. Here is what we see.

What you often find

  • Commercial cards processed with no Level II or III data
  • Invoices mailed out and paid by check weeks later
  • Card numbers taken over the phone and keyed by hand
  • Payments entered twice: once in the gateway, once in the books
  • Large tickets with no lower-cost option like ACH

At PayZoom

  • Level II and III fields sent where the card and setup support them
  • Invoices with a payment link customers can pay online
  • A secure virtual terminal for phone and email orders
  • Gateway connected to QuickBooks, SAP or your ERP
  • ACH offered alongside cards for larger invoices

How B2B payments add up

For a business that sells to other businesses, the total cost of getting paid comes down to three choices. We look at all three on your statement.

The right data

Level II and III details like tax, PO and line items, sent with commercial card payments.

The right channel

Card, ACH or payment link, matched to the size of the invoice and the customer.

The right connection

Payments that post into your accounting or ERP system without double entry.

The PayZoom Statement Review

  1. Send. Email us one recent processing statement.
  2. Read. We line-item every fee and separate what the card networks charge from what your processor keeps.
  3. Recommend. You get a plain-English answer. If you are already paying a fair price, we will tell you.
  4. Switch. If you move to PayZoom, we set up processing to fit your POS, gateway or cart.

PayZoom not only offers Parts Plus members Low Cost Credit Card processing rates, they also provide ACH Services, Check Protection Services and Gift/Loyalty Card programs.

Questions merchants ask us

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call us and a real person will answer it.

What are Level II and Level III data?

They are extra details sent with a card payment. Level II adds things like sales tax and a customer or PO number. Level III adds line-item detail such as product codes, quantities and unit prices. When a commercial card payment includes the right data, it can qualify for a lower interchange category. See our Level 2 and Level 3 page.

Should we accept ACH or cards for invoices?

Often both. Cards are fast and familiar, and many companies pay with purchasing cards by policy. ACH usually costs less, especially on large invoices, but takes longer to settle. Offering both lets your customers pay how their accounts payable team prefers. We help you set a sensible approach based on your invoice sizes.

Can payments sync with QuickBooks or our ERP?

Yes, in many cases. We offer QuickBooks invoicing and ERP and CRM integration, including SAP, plus custom API work when an off-the-shelf connection won’t fit. Connecting payments to your books cuts out double entry and makes it easier to see which invoices are paid. Tell us what you run.

Can we surcharge B2B card payments?

Card-brand rules allow surcharging on credit cards when it is disclosed, capped at 3% and never applied to debit or prepaid cards. Some states restrict it, so check current rules where you do business. Many B2B sellers surcharge only certain card types or invoices. We help you set it up correctly, but we don’t give legal advice.

Do you work with industry groups and associations?

Yes. Parts Plus endorsed PayZoom as a credit card processor for its members, with ACH, check protection and gift and loyalty programs available too. If your association or buying group wants a processing option for members, we can talk through how that would work.

Send us one statement. We’ll tell you exactly what you’re paying.

No cost and no pressure. If your current rate is fair, we’ll say so. We typically reply the same business day.
