Valor V-100: a countertop terminal that prints the receipt.

The Valor V-100 is a countertop terminal with a built-in receipt printer. It fits a fixed register where customers pay in one spot and want a paper receipt in hand.

What trips up a simple countertop setup

A countertop terminal should be the easy part. These are the snags we see, and how we set up a Valor V-100 instead.

What you often find

  • A terminal on a lease nobody read closely
  • A separate receipt printer cluttering the counter
  • A bundled rate that hides the processor’s markup
  • Surcharge receipts that bury the fee in the total
  • A help line that never reaches the same person twice

At PayZoom

  • A terminal matched to a fixed register, with no pressure to upgrade
  • A built-in receipt printer on the same device
  • Interchange-Plus pricing, with our margin on its own line
  • Surcharge or cash discount programs set up to card-brand rules, if you want one
  • Support that is never outsourced

How the Valor V-100 works with PayZoom

A good countertop setup comes down to three things.

Right device

A countertop terminal with a built-in receipt printer, for a register where customers pay in one place.

Right pricing

Interchange-Plus, as low as 0.05% + $0.22 per transaction, depending on your setup. Our margin never increases, in writing.

Real support

We set the V-100 up on your account and pick up the phone after the sale.

The PayZoom Statement Review

  1. Send. Email us one recent processing statement.
  2. Read. We line-item every fee and separate what the card networks charge from what your processor keeps.
  3. Recommend. You get a plain-English answer. If you are already paying a fair price, we will tell you.
  4. Switch. If you move to PayZoom, we set up processing to fit your POS, gateway or cart.

Not only did PayZoom lower our costs, they analyzed our internal processes and made recommendations to improve workflow and provided new equipment so we could capture electronic payments at all points in the hospital and at off-site locations.

Questions merchants ask us

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call us and a real person will answer it.

Who is the Valor V-100 a good fit for?

Businesses with a fixed register where customers pay at the counter and expect a printed receipt: retail shops, service counters, medical and dental front desks and similar spots. If counter space is tight, the Valor Mini has a smaller footprint. If you sell away from the counter, look at a mobile terminal.

Valor V-100 or Valor Mini?

Both are countertop terminals. The V-100 has a built-in receipt printer. The Valor Mini is built for a small footprint on a tight counter. Tell us how your counter is laid out and how you hand customers receipts, and we’ll help you pick.

Can I surcharge on the V-100?

Surcharging is a program, not just a setting, so tell us before setup if you want it. We set it up to card-brand rules: capped at 3%, credit cards only, disclosed to customers and shown on its own receipt line. Some states restrict surcharging, so check current rules before you start.

Will the terminal change my processing rate?

No. Your pricing sets the rate. We recommend Interchange-Plus, where card-network costs pass through at cost and our margin is shown separately. Send one recent statement and we’ll show you what you pay today. It is as low as 0.05% + $0.22 per transaction, depending on your setup.

What happens if I leave PayZoom later?

We don’t charge early termination fees, and we don’t charge non-compliance fees. If you stay, our margin above interchange never increases for Interchange-Plus merchants, in writing. Support stays the same either way: a real person answers, and it is never outsourced.

Send us one statement. We’ll tell you exactly what you’re paying.

No cost and no pressure. If your current rate is fair, we’ll say so. We typically reply the same business day.
