Who is the Dejavoo P8 a good fit for?

What is dual pricing on the P8?
Dual pricing means the customer sees two prices: one for cash and one for card. The P8 can show both, so the choice is clear before anyone pays. Our cash discount and dual pricing page explains how the program works and what card-brand rules expect.
Is a cash discount the same as a surcharge?
No. A surcharge adds a fee to credit card payments, capped at 3% and never on debit or prepaid cards. A cash discount or dual pricing program shows a lower price for cash. Each follows its own rules, and some states restrict surcharging. Check current rules for your state.
Do I have to run dual pricing on the P8?
No. The P8 also works as a handheld card terminal on standard processing. If you choose standard processing, we recommend Interchange-Plus, as low as 0.05% + $0.22 per transaction, depending on your setup, with our margin on its own line. That margin never increases, in writing.
